On Dec. 2nd, Water Insight signed a pilot with Boskalis for the monitoring of dredging plumes using satellite data and in situ optical measurements. Next to that, WI also signed a partnership with the Port of Rotterdam to explore monitoring applications, also aimed at pilot projects.
With these contracts, our participation in the PortXL accelerator programme officially came to an end. However, as the initiated activities (also including developments at the Municipality of Rotterdam for monitoring cyanobacteria) are still in full swing, we see it as a beginning of many new partnerships!
