Aerosol measurements

Water Insight offers aerosol measurements using a Microtops II sun photometer. By pointing the spectrometer directly at the sun, we measure the spectrum in the visible and infrared wavelengths. From the spectrum we can determine the amount of aerosols, ozone and water vapor in the atmosphere.  This provides important information for air quality and public health, but also for the enhancement of the atmospheric correction of satellite images.
