'Blue-green algae' due to warm weather

The warm weather increases the chance of cyanobacterial ('blue-green algae') growth, as can also be found at the Dutch news-site nu.nl
Blue-green algea contain the pigment phycocyanin, which has a typical colour. By determining the colour of the water, it is easy to know if cyanobacteria are present.
